It could be scary for some but after 10-15 hours, the cannibals aren’t that scary anymore, just a chore. No mods were found matching the criteria specified. Yeah performance suffers at times- I just put ASW to always on and crank some settings so it looks nice.
Not perfect but better than Subnautica’s conversion for example. To aim with a bow- you aim like in real life. In VR- if a cannibal goes to your blindside you just turn. Also aiming the bow with crosshairs was not great. But I did notice the enemies were way harder- jumping to your blindside to attack and your swings were stamina timed. Couldn’t solve it, the game is just ridiculously dark in pancake. I played an hour on a new game in pancake to see if I could troubleshoot a friend who I wanted to coop with saying it was too dark. Sometimes I’d just stop and listen to the wind blowing through the trees. It is a beautiful game in VR with lots of atmosphere. I put 60+ in VR exclusively and did most of it (like 98%) solo.
